“MY SUPER MAN”
There was a time in my life when everything was perfect from the outside looking in. And, truth be told, it wasn’t so bad from the inside looking out either, but I wasn’t able to appreciate it until it was another piece of my past. I was successful, beautiful, and able to lavishly support my two younger brothers and myself. I was famous and I was in love with Superman, who deliriously loved me back. He wasn’t my first love, but Dean Cain was the first that anyone knew about, or more accurately, that anyone cared about. At this point in my career I was beginning to explode and we were the new “it” couple in Hollywood. I was touring heavily and feverishly driven. I owned a house in Nashville, where I lived with my two brothers, and Dean and I had a house in Los Angeles. I split my time between the two but more often than not I was doing radio promotional tours that took me all over the States and occasionally to other countries. I’ll begin Chapter Three at the height of our romance around the time he proposed to me in a supermarket with a bread tie, and will end with our breakup only weeks before our planned Bali wedding.
